WeWorked for Android App Released

It is here! The Official WeWorked Android app is now available for free on Google Play.

In the past we pointed our android customers to our mobile-friendly version of WeWorked. But we decided that it was time for android users to have a better experience on their device. The first version of the WeWorked for Android is packed with a ton of great features. You will be able to perform 99% of every task on your timesheet. You can submit time, approve time, deny time, review time, add comments, and more.

Because timesheets are the biggest part of WeWorked, we did not want to delay releasing the app to add expense features. Expenses are currently under development and will be released soon.

Company Holiday Control on Timesheets

Hello to all the WeWorked users across the world! Although we have constantly updated the site, we haven’t written a blog update in awhile. Last year we received several requests to add a feature related to holidays. Holidays are a lot like weekends, if you don’t highlight the days and distinguish them from the regular workdays, you end up having to correct a bunch of timesheets. This happens accidentally because people enter time without realizing last Monday was a holiday, for example.

To help with this, we added a feature that allows you to specify all your company holidays. Doing so will highlight a holiday on timesheets and display the name of the holiday when the mouse hovers over the day.  Administrators can even elect to completely lock the day from time entry. This works well if your company’s policy is to not enter time for holidays.

Administrators will find the holiday feature under settings.
